    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is it. The big mother of intro classes to Mass Communications. You might have heard of Project 54, but the only thing that will help you succeed is this: TAKE THE PROFESSOR'S ADVICE. DO NOT FALL BEHIND. So many people slacked off, missing a post or two every now and then, no biggie - until the end of the semester comes and you're 20 posts behind schedule. Another helpful tip: definitely talk to the professors. They're friendly, and they're likely to be a bit more lenient with the grading if they've talked to you and know your face.

    Course highlights:

The course definitely throws you in the deep end as far as Mass Communications go. You learn how to produce a lot of work in a very short amount of time, which is necessary in this field. You also learn how to get the creative juices flowing quickly, which is also incredibly important. Learning about deadlines and how to meet them is good life lessons in general.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Most of my advice was already mentioned, but I think this needs repeating: don't fall behind! You'll regret it! Done and on time with less-than-perfect execution is better than late perfection. And don't be afraid to work with others!
