    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

One of my favorite professors throughout my years at VCU. Professor Melis Hafez cares about her students and is very passionate in the subjects she teaches. Modern Ottoman Empire was a very interesting course that I would recommend to anyone who loves history!

    Course highlights:

The history of the Ottoman Empire is grand and covers a span of 600 years! I learned about the social lives, political entities, economic aspects and cultural traditions of one of the largest empires to ever exist. This course is exciting, interesting and informative!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't miss class. Every class matters and do the readings, they are extremely interesting and informative.
