    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Gramling always gave excellent, engaging lectures on psychology, making sure to connect the studied material to everyday life. The lectures were informative without being overwhelmingly so, and she would always answer questions. A introductory course for those trying to understand more about brain functions.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of the course was watching a documentary on the effects of stress and holding on to grudges. The documentary made a great argument for letting things go, as extended unforgiveness actually kills your body.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you take good notes on the lectures and do not skip, you will be bulletproof on the day of the exam. Gramiling is almost annoyingly clear about what will and will not be on the test.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The class was very hard to follow along had great material and interesting parts but over all a lot of notes and lots of time into class.

    Course highlights:

This class goes by so fast and not much depth into material except when it comes to meditation. Gramling has done so much research on meditation and similar aspects of psychology that she would emphasize on that part of the course which was interesting but only really understood that part.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you go over the notes before class, don't for get to do all assignments including the online/ in person labs.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Although the class was very long, overall she was an amazing teacher who I have learned a lot from. She has a unique way of teaching but it helps to get you to understand it. Having the modules to do along the way also helped a lot.

    Course highlights:

I learned the different pasts of the brain, different types of anxiety, different psych evaluations and experiments that were tested. I also learned that although you enjoy a class it still might not be easy.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say that you make sure if you do not understand something go to your teachers office hours or ask you TA. If you pay attention and do good on your work, it is a simple, enjoyable class.
