Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Although the class was very long, overall she was an amazing teacher who I have learned a lot from. She has a unique way of teaching but it helps to get you to understand it. Having the modules to do along the way also helped a lot.

    Course highlights:

I learned the different pasts of the brain, different types of anxiety, different psych evaluations and experiments that were tested. I also learned that although you enjoy a class it still might not be easy.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say that you make sure if you do not understand something go to your teachers office hours or ask you TA. If you pay attention and do good on your work, it is a simple, enjoyable class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Donahue has a deep passion about teaching psychology. He comes in every class with a smile on his face and makes learning a whole new experience I never felt before.

    Course highlights:

Towards the end of the course there is a section about mental disorders that you learn about. It was fascinating learning the biochemistry behind what the disorders do and how to treat it if there is treatment. Also during the course there is a book to read called, "An Anthropologist on Mars" written by Oliver Sacks. This book was intriguing to me and took me 2 days to read the 300 page book and take a test on it. Overall, I cannot imagine taking this class with another professor.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Plan out all assignments he gives because it can be tedious at times. Don't forget about the online assignments because I know they can be easily forgotten. Have fun with the course because it is fascinating learning about the mind. Try to make all the classes because Dr. Donahue gives attendance quizzes every class.
