    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The course information is fairly applicable, which is nice. However, there is a lot of reading that takes up a lot of time. But Professor Linneman is helpful in explaining some of the more confusing topics and he makes class more interesting.

    Course highlights:

All of the topics from aging to health and sexuality to globalization are extremely relevant and fairly up to date. The things we discuss and looking at different themes from a sociological perspective helps you to think about the world in a broader way.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the readings. In our class, his participation was based on poll questions about the readings. Even though it's only a few questions each class, they can either contribute to or hurt of your final grade.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Pay attention and really challenge yourself to broaden your understanding.

    Course highlights:

This course will open your eyes to the sociological imagination as well as the basics of research and stats for sociology.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do all the reading for the reading quizzes-not only will you learn a lot, this is the only way to pass the class.
