Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course as it lays the foundation for future courses in the International Relations discipline. My professor was very interesting and made sure that we understood what was expected of us.

    Course highlights:

My highlights were the readings as they really solidified what material was being taught inside of the class as well as the paper at the end of the semester because I was able to show and apply what I had learned.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure that you do the readings as well as go to office hours so that the professor knows who you are, and will therefore be able to work with you.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This is required for all government majors, but it also provides an excellent introduction to IR theory. This is useful for gov, IR, public policy, economics, and history majors. It can be tedious, but will be a huge asset in later coursework.

    Course highlights:

While the material can be somewhat dry, Rahman was extremely knowledgeable and a complete expert in the subject area. She's a great resource and really helpful to students.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The readings are a critical component.
