Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is a good introduction to early European history and analyzing historical text.

    Course highlights:

The class covers a very wide swath of history, but it was focused and specific enough to remain interesting. It's pretty fast-paced, but very well structured. Having not previously known very much about European history, I got a much better understanding of the topic, and I learned to analyze primary texts with a basic historian's perspective.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take very detailed notes - they will come in handy in studying for the tests. The reading load for this course can be heavy at times, so planning ahead for that may be helpful. It's much better to keep up with the reading and be prepared for the class discussions!
