    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would totally recommend this course because Namita was so great at giving everyone individual attention. She was very thorough and great at breaking things down so that even the worst of drawers could understand.

    Course highlights:

We got to create a collection for our final project, which was such a great learning experience. We learned to create textures, render, draw faces, and create a mood board. It was a lot of fun and a very memorable experience.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be really interested and be willing to draw outside of class. Have creative ideas in mind. Come with questions. Have all your materials ready on the first day, you will need them!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class was small, only 4 other people were in it. Namita gave a lot of individual attention to students, and also did a lot of good lecturing. Teaching drawing is hard, but Namita did a great job of breaking the process down into steps.

    Course highlights:

We learned to make a 10-head female figure. We learned how to render and draw different fabrics and patterns. We went to the Bellevue Art Museum to view the CounterCouture exhibit. Our final project was to create a cohesive collection of 6 figures along with a mood board.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take advantage of asking Namita for help. Come prepared with all the correct supplies on the first day, you'll use them right away.
