Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Absolutely fantastic teacher. The test reviews were really helpful.

    Course highlights:

Being able to understand calculus is great. I learned so much about calc that I didn't think I could.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Remember all the trig functions and their derivatives!! You should know how to do algebra because this class requires a lot of it as well.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

He's a fantastic teacher - although a bit strict. Definitely listen to him at the beginning of the quarter and use his website as provided. Practice the tests that he has put up before his weekly quiz. If you can do that, and earn a high enough grade, no final is necessary! Regardless, know that this course is between 10-25 hours a week of extra studying. Luckily, he's easy on the background knowledge and will guide you through the trig and geometry that is expected of you.

    Course highlights:

I learned the basics of Calculus. There isn't much more to it than that. The first quarter focuses on derivatives.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

I would highly recommend supplementing with Professor Leonard on YouTube.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Awesome professor, grades pretty strictly and you need to pay attention, but everybody loved this class, even the people who didn't like math loved this professor.

    Course highlights:

The professor followed the book pretty closely, so you can see everything you're going to do at the beginning of the quarter. We went through limits, all sorts of derivatives, and touched on integrals.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely do the homework. It's more important to do the homework than it is to show up in class, I think. But definitely listen in class too, because the professor will show you what he expects you to put for work on the exams and quizzes.
