Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class was challenging, but your grade is mainly based off of your final essay.

    Course highlights:

In this class, the main portion of your final grade is based off of your ten-page research essay. This class taught me how to research thoroughly a given topic, formulate an opinion, and defend my opinion in many different ways. Even if you do not plan on becoming a writer, it is an extremely useful skill to have.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Begin research on your essay topic early. This is not an assignment to be taken lightly. It is usually worth about half of your final grade in the class, so you will need time to formulate an opinion, research extensively, write multiple drafts and edit each one, and finalize a final draft. There is no room for procrastination.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not miss class. Ask questions. Participate in class discussions.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

English 102 is fundamental in college, and Ryan was a great instructor. We broke out 10 page essay down into 4 sections, and we'd periodically go over our essays with our peers in class. During this time we were also able to ask Ryan his to put fourth his thoughts and input, and he also peer reviewed our papers with critiques so that we had guidance the whole step of the way.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to brainstorm in different ways and learned team building.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Write the paper, he gives it to you in 2.5 chunks, you just need to go through and write the 2.5 pages at a time and have them ready for class. If you do that, you should do fine in this class.
