Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because those who are afraid to talk in class or public, this class will really help speak more.

    Course highlights:

The debates were a big thing in this class and I learned to be more outgoing especially in public speaking.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the book, especially before the lesson. If not, at least after the lectures to better understand the lecture of each day.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you are like me and hate doing speeches or presenting in front of people, this course will help you deal with presentations, speeches, and debates because you have to do a lot of them.

    Course highlights:

We did two speeches and two debates throughout the quarter. You learn a lot on how to prove a point and how to back up your statements. It also teaches you how to properly attack someone while debating.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to thoroughly prepare for your presentations so that you can feel comfortable while presenting and you will get a good grade.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Class is easy if you pay attention, and do what is told. It is self explanatory and it's hard to fail.

    Course highlights:

Not like public speaking. You don't need to memorize your speech, and you read straight off the paper. Your paper is comprised mostly of quotes.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Take this instead of COM 100. It is easier in the long-run.
