This class was tough.
This is a challenging course but very informative about animal parasites. This course teaches anyone, whether a student wants to be a vet tech or just wants to see what invades an animals body, what parasites can actually do to the body. Informs a student of what parasite prefers, why they are in a certain area of the body and what medication is used to control infestation, also methods of extracting the parasite to diagnose an animal with a parasite.
I learned that many parasites are host specific and will not attack a human, unless desperate for survival. Many parasites can be diagnosed by stool samples, since many parasites attack the digestive system.

Advice for students:
Study with other students and quiz each other, best way to study. Take your own notes and then compare to the professors PowerPoints. And if your not sure about a topic or have any questions email the professor or go to office hours, believe it or not, this helps in remembering course material.
