    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This was a pretty good refresher class for me, as it is a critical reading, thinking, and writing class, and I took this exact class in my junior year of high school. We even used the same textbook as we did in high school, except it was a different edition. This 105 class consisted of mainly group work and discussions, three papers throughout the quarter, class discussions, lecture notes, and videos shown to us as examples. We were also required to attend one office hours session with the professor to go over at least one of our papers. Homework was bi-weekly online Blackboard posts/discussions. There were also free writes, mini weekly quizzes, and some sort of timed writes that we would turn in.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was reading the book, Never Let Me Go. It was a great read, and I had a lot of fun discussing it with the class and discussing all of the major elements and important plot points and character developments in the book.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just go to class as much as you can, because this professor only lets you miss up to 3 classes. The 4th one is a whole grade lower, and the 5th absence you fail. Also, don't forget to do the Blackboard posts, and take notes.
