    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

History in general is something I'm not a big fan of because it is just not in my interest group. Through the many past history course I have taken, I would have to say that this was the most challenging because the college aspect of it. I needed to have a background knowledge in order to understand the different concepts provided for us, but because of how uninterested I was in this particular subject, I was not able to challenge myself to work harder.

    Course highlights:

I learned that you need to be independent, by all means in any course, because without being independent, there is not succeeding (well in this course). We were to read countless numbers of textbook chapters and primary source documents that were going to be in the upcoming quizzes and/or test.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the study guides! These study guides given are the ones that end up being on the exams. Without doing them, you will not be able to succeed this course successfully. Like mentioned, be independent and work hard to produce that quality work.

I wouldn't recommend it if you don't want to be a history teacher.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say study hard and try to understand what you are learning.
