Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I find the process of programming both fun and challenging, however, not always at the same time. This course was a great introduction into programming and provided many great small examples of how the programming process works and all the issues that can crop up in the procedure.

    Course highlights:

With this course I learned that when programming you must have effective time management as a simple task can turn into a monster if you wait too long and cannot properly debug the code. The most memorable moment in this course for me was when I had finally gotten my code to work perfectly after spending a long time debugging.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class, pay attention in class, ask questions about ANYTHING you don't understand. Practice things you are unsure about.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I'd recommend the course because it's a great solid foundation for the world of computer science and it's also a requirement to take this class.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to manipulate files, strings, integers, and the basics of loops with Java. There are some challenging projects in the course but all it takes is some time to grasp.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Find the smart dude with all the experience in coding, be friends with that person and text or call them every time you need any help.
