    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I am not a math person, but this course was still very interesting to me. The professor was very helpful when I had any problems. Professor Armagrande knew what she was doing and had a lot of passion for this subject. Statistics is a very helpful class if you are going to study in business or marketing. I highly recommend this course, because stats will benefit your life a lot in the future.

    Course highlights:

In this course I learned how to use excel, I learned how to use different types of graphs and how to use the information we learned in class in real life.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are going into the business, marketing, or just any path that requires statistics, then I highly recommend you taking this course. It's not an easy course, but as long as you do your work and put effort into it then you will be fine.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I do not have any feelings towards this course. The professor did not take kindly to questions but she did lecture the whole class on the material.

    Course highlights:

Never miss class, even if you are sick. Missing one day will leave you lost all quarter. Also be sure to take through notes and pay attention.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Use the study guide she gives and take advantage of tutoring services. Get together with other classmates to help you understand the material.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this teacher because he is an okay one. The 2 hour class time is composed of a PowerPoint lecture with examples throughout. On quiz days he gives you about 25 minutes to complete the quiz and 5 extra minutes if there are still people working. On exam days he gives you an hour of the class time to complete the exam, plus a few minutes for people that are still working. He provides extra credit questions for the students that do a fairly decent amount of help towards your overall grade. Class time is not mandatory, although it is highly recommended that you attend his lectures. If you just do your work and read the text you should do fine.

    Course highlights:

I learned that statistics are very much applicable in today's society. There are a lot of things outside of school that pertain to using statistics, including averages of things, distribution of data, observing and highlighting types of trends, etc. Statistic 120 was an alright course that helped open my eyes to the applications of the real world and how they use statistics.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your work, read your text, pay attention. You'll do fine.
