Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Nguyen is a very underrated professor. I honestly believe she's one of the best math professors on campus. Yes, she has a little bit of an accent, but her teaching style was organized and straight to the point. Her tests are pretty tough, but fair grading.
She gave us a review sheet for the midterm and final. All the problems on the exams were from the homework and lecture notes. Although she may not seem like the most enthusiastic professor on campus, she still gets the job done. She also gave us all the hw problems for each section that we had to do at the beginning of the quarter, so you have the chance to be ahead. MAT 214 was the introduction to multivariable calc and Nguyen really made it simple for us.

Advice for students:
Her lecture notes are VERY long, so prepare to write 3-4 pages of notes front and back every class period. All of her tests were straight from the homework and examples in the notes, if anything she'll just change the values in the problems. If you want to learn math in a "straight-to-the-point" way TAKE HER! If you are just wanting to pass the class, I'd recommend taking an easier professor with less workload.
