    Course Overview:

    This was the first class I took that captivated my future aspirations into going towards the HR industry.

    Course highlights:

    MHR 301 talks about the fundamentals of the principles of management. It goes in depth about Maslow's hierarchy of needs, division of work, division of management, unity of the overall organization, and the emphasis that human capital is highly valuable.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    His powerpoint slides and study guides will be essential for passing the midterm/finals. Vocabulary also.

    Course Overview:

    I recommend this course for it will truly show you what the whole world of management looks like and what exactly you are going into. Without it, I would be lost right now.

    Course highlights:

    I learned how to work better with people as in the world of business one will have to deal with both supervisors, coworkers, and a large variety of customers.

    I would recommend you simply get into a group and start studying.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

    Basic management course. Learned about the important of management as well as the principles behind it.

    Course highlights:

    We were put into groups and had to choose a company to interview. My group chose to interview at one of the Hollister Co. stores because one of our members worked there. Through that interview, we were able to learn about the management skills and what their daily work consists of.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Make sure to read the book thoroughly and take notes on it.
