    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is the most difficult course in the BFA, but if you learn from it, it is one of the most useful.

    Course highlights:

I didn't even know what perspective meant going in, but now it's no problem for me.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Meet with your teacher. Asking questions and getting help is the best way to improve.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Even though it's just basics, it really reiterates the importance of said basics. I feel more confident in my artistic skills after completing this course.

    Course highlights:

I learned proper proportions, scale, how to use reference and create something totally new from those references, and how to preplan my piece. Despite the fact that this class was probably my most stressful class, I enjoyed it.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Seek help from your tutors and from your TA. Sometimes the teacher is very vague with his teachings and his critiques, and you won't understand what he means. Asking for help is the most most important thing to do when you're stuck. Even requesting a one-on-one from the professor will help too.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The teacher was fantastic, approachable, and experienced. The Class was informative and fun. Assignments made sense and taught applicable skills for future careers.

    Course highlights:

starting from basic primitive shapes in perspective, and moving from there to interior spaces, then to cityscapes.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the homework, don't put it off thinking you have a week or more to do it. The more time you allot for the homework, the better it will turn out.
