Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Hansen will explain the ideas behind the concepts learned very clearly. His homework is usually rather easy, and his tests can be challenging, but not too challenging.

    Course highlights:

Calculus opened the doors to many other fun classes, like Physics. It also really helped to improve my problem-sovling abilities.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Practice! Spend at least a couple hours a day working problems, from quick and easy to the longer, harder problems. Practice them enough that you can differentiate in your sleep and you will do very well on every test.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Graham makes learning calculus understandable. He uses many examples and shows all of his steps. He doesn't assign homework but gives recommended problems, and although there are 4 independent tests in the course, there are 10 quizzes where you can work with partners.

    Course highlights:

I love how he uses humor to keep us engaged! And having no assigned homework was nice too!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Try the recommended problems even if you don't do all of them.
