Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It brought a culture I was interested in into the classroom. It made me become much more involved in my school work. I cared about my work in the class.

    Course highlights:

The textbook was really cool to read! I learned that you can learn from anyone. You don't have to be an acclaimed writer or professional to teach someone something they didn't know.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the assigned essays when they're assigned; it makes the discussion the next day much more enriching and thought-provoking.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

She was a very down to earth instructor and cared about the students. She enjoyed teaching the class and had a great sense of humor.

    Course highlights:

I learned the basics in English. She was very big on writing papers. Be prepared to write a lot. But be active in the discussions.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be active in the discussions. Even if you did not read the chapters, it is pretty common knowledge and the discussions should make it easier to tag along and act like you know what you're saying.
