    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Brown did an excellent job of making a balance of homework that worked with his lectures, and his lectures were always available online for students to rewatch if they were having issues on any of the course work, including the project.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the many interests problems based on the lectures of the day, and also Dr. Brown's enthusiasm about the course content itself. He was always a fair professor, and he was always understanding when students have questions about the content outside of class. He made himself available all the time, and was an amazing mentor. Having Dr. Brown as a teacher was the highlight of this course.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

If any student has taken previous engineering classes, they know to be prepared for the lectures beforehand. My advice to all students who take this class would be to read the book, do ALL the homework problems, including the in-class problems that Dr. Brown presents during class to study for exams, and also create in-depth crib sheets for his exams. He is a fair teacher whose exams will not test you on problems and knowledge he has not shown you beforehand.
