Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course because it helped me develop critical writing skills that I didn't have before. It helped me with strengthening my argumentative writing skills at a whole new level.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the interactions with the professor and the students. Being able to learn in a supportive environment and get thoughts and feedback from those around you. I learned how to critic my own writing in a way that more clearly represented the points I was trying to get across to my audience.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would make sure you are giving yourself enough time to write the essays and give yourself extra time to fully comb through you essay's. I would also suggest to not be afraid of getting all the help you need from the professor because it was so helpful to have her advice.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course focuses on one major writing project by the end of the semester along with smaller projects throughout the duration. The final paper was written about environmental problems of today's time - particularly natural resources and sustainability.

    Course highlights:

The final paper feeds off of several assignments throughout the semester. Each assignment helps you collect information and teaches you how to analyze sources you find. The course is somewhat step-by-step and you work on the assignment throughout the course. You will learn how to use all your sources into making a great paper.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Doing all the assignments is very important. Some assignments focus on analyzing 1-4 sources, and the next assignment studies 1-4 MORE sources. In the final paper, you will use all 8 sources and the formatting for every previous assignment is highly important in building your paper.
