    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It was really the professor and how he approached the subject that made it so great. It was different from the other English 101 classes. We read abstract papers and wrote our own papers off of an idea picked from the original. Tons of fun.

    Course highlights:

Almost everyday was a highlight. We learned about rhetoric mostly.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't wait until the last minute to write a paper on an abstract idea. Read the reading multiple times (suggested three times). Participate in class.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It's not so much the course as it is the instructor and the way he taught it. It was different from the other English 101 classes. We had to think abstractly and read complicated papers, but it was all fun.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because I was taught how to properly format and write my essays. It is a perfect intro course not just for English but College overall.

    Course highlights:

I learned many styles of writing such as poetry, satire, persuasive, etc. Highlights were definitely watching shows to practice writing about. Example: Southpark and satire.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always complete your homework and remember to bring it in!
