    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course become Professor Lytle is an excellent professor. He takes the time to get to know his students and learn how they learn the best.

    Course highlights:

The best part of the course was the experiments he did during class that corresponded to what we were learning. They really helped solidify what we were learning.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the textbook and take good notes both inside and outside of class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Lytle is a great professor! He makes things interesting, and puts chemistry into the context of life. This is a great course to take rather you plan on majoring in some type of science or to just fulfill the natural sciences general education requirement.

    Course highlights:

Dr. Lytle completed many demos that were jaw dropping and entertaining. We learned about certain chemical reactions that we deal with everyday without knowing.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep up with the reading. Pay attention in class. Do not be afraid to ask questions!! That is how we learned the most.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I love chemistry and science, so I was naturally inclined to take and enjoy this class. However, Dr. Munro made my experience so much better than expected! She is fun, tough, and very knowledgeable.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part was learning about the molecular geometry of different molecules and how to predict them. I also liked stoichiometry, when we convert different units back and forth. I'm a math person.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Basically just go to class. Also, make sure you stay on top of your studying. If you have a question, ask right away, don't wait until you're really far behind.
