    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Beherens is an amazing professor who is great at explaining material in a way that students can relate. She gives many opportunities for success and praises students for participation.

    Course highlights:

I learned so much! This course helps you learn so much about real-life and your body in a way that makes it "stick". Beherens gives bonus points for things like doing extra-curricular activities or doing well on homework and gives stickers that can be used as a free point on exams when students participate in class by answering questions.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Printing out the PowerPoint before she goes over the chapter in class is CRUCIAL. There is so much information it would be impossible to write it all out. If you print the slides you can highlight the things she says are important and make notes when she explains something in more depth.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class to anyone who is interested in the human body and the ways that it works. It is very interesting and provides an in-depth look at why we are the way we are.

    Course highlights:

This course is unlike anything you could take in high school. With a lab component in addition to a lecture portion of the class, we got to learn about organs hands-on.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This is a course that you NEED to study for. Take notes, listen during lecture, and review constantly.
