Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I loved this course! It helped me decide on what I wanted to major in! Shah was a great professor and always had a plan for what was going on in class. Klein not so much, she would go off topic a lot. I learned a lot about the globe and how it is seen from different points of view and theories.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about different cultures and how to view and talk about these cultures from different perspectives. I loved learning about the international politics part of the course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the readings! They will help you on all of the tests and essays. Also, use Shah's office hours, they are extremely helpful if you have any questions.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Ann Kelleher co-taught this course with another professor, and together they wrote the required text. It was an excellent holistic introductory approach to globalization.

    Course highlights:

Full, global geography studies-we had tests on each region. I also really enjoyed the discussions surrounding philosophical considerations of issues facing our increasingly interconnected world.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Print out blank region maps and identify the countries, even if you're really solid with geography. Also, read the text-it's not long, but it's worthy.
