Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Lucas is a fantastic professor, you can tell he really cares about his students and what he is teaching. The learning is fascinating, interactive and relevant.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot of ins and outs of government and how the constitution and government policies of the past tied into modern day politics.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study all of the questions he gives you for the study guide thoroughly and take notes on things he lectures about in class. You will get a good grade as long as you study and do the work.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor is always willing to help you and he really cares about the students actually retaining the information. He is very involved in state government and has a lot of personal experience that makes the course more interesting.

    Course highlights:

I have been in multiple social sciences class, but never had I been able to retain any information that helps me in todays world. Now I can tell you the difference between democrats and republicans, what they stand for, important founders and how these parties came to be.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You are pushed to find your own political views and share them with the rest of the class in the form of speeches and presentations; however, it really opens your eyes to problem that are occurring and hear other students' solutions to real life problems.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend just because you learn a lot in just a few short weeks. I knew nothing really about Politics and here I am getting into debates with people and keeping up on the elections and actually caring what goes on in our government. It's challenging for sure, but there are many opportunities to succeed in that class. It makes your brain think in ways that you normally haven't.

    Course highlights:

Definitely the group discussions were a highlight for me. I loved being able to read what others said on a topic and getting feedback on my responses. I love interacting and having conversations about things that actually matter.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared for a lot of work.
