    | Would recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Although this is a required course for freshman, I would still recommend it. At first, it seems like a silly course and as if it is not necessary, but I actually learned a lot from it. The course focused on study tips, note taking skills, stress tips, and even career exploration and networking for after college! I planned on sleeping through the study tips and note taking lectures, but I actually learned a lot of new tips from them and to be honest, they really helped a lot throughout my first year as a college student!! In addition, I benefited from the career tips and the professor gave much needed advice on what books, websites and even teachers I should go to for even more help on what career is best for me! The course even addressed test anxiety, which was very helpful for me--who knew that you can ask to record lectures?! More than anything, I want you to know that you should learn a lot from this course so go into it with an open mind and be ready to hear incredible advice that will help you succeed throughout the rest of your education!

    Course highlights:

I addressed some of this already, but I learned a whole lot of new tips on dealing with stress, taking notes (like mind-mapping!) and dealing with busy schedules. Google could not even give me some of the advice I got from this course!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this course, just be sure to always attend class, do the homework and put effort into it. College Success does not require the brains of a genius, but you do need to be willing to learn.
