    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is definitely one of my favorites that I have taken during Running Start. It was online which taught me great time management and Prof. Danner was always willing to answer questions without allowing you to rely on her to get through everything.

    Course highlights:

This course was so intriguing as we went over the study of behaviors across different cultures. After taking a psychology course as well, it was awesome to be able to relate them to each other.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

There is a lot of reading and vocab to remember. Be sure to set aside enough time everyday to read over information.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course as it broadens your horizons about how we are ethnocentric in our culture.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course where reading the ethnographies of anthropologists and how best to learn knew cultures.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend keeping on top of the readings as there are a lot and it can be confusing as to which one you are on.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course was the best college class I've been able to participate in. Not only did the professor facilitate excellent discussion among the class, every subject matter that was brought up week after week was relevant to the course, and easily applicable to life.

    Course highlights:

I learned that race and ethnicity are two different things, and Monsanto runs to food industry. I learned how food can effect people from around the world, and how the capitalistic western system of social interactions impacts smaller communities negatively. I learned the roles of women throughout the world, while also recognizing that feminism is a word that means many different things to many different women.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Please, do not get backed up on homework! Its not a ton of stuff to do anyway. If you do happen to get overwhelmed, see the professor in her office hours or after class, and she'll usually give an extension on the assignment, without penalty.
