    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class to all Accounting students. Professor Merle has extensive knowledge not only in Accounting but also in Finance.

    Course highlights:

There are many highlights in this course. First, I really enjoy lecture time. Professor Merle uses his knowledge when serving as CFO for Weyerhaeuser to elaborate more on the accounting principles, which essentially make the tough concepts more understandable. Second, as part of the curriculum, I get to research and write up reports on the current events that I find interesting and relatable to the Accounting field. Third, two group projects are helpful and practical.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this course, make sure you come to class prepared. This means that you should skim through reading materials and complete any prior homework assignments.
