    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Really need this class to understand how DNA is made and how the molecular part of the body functions. But just a little redundant because the class is a more in depth high school biology class.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of the class was when we learned about DNA and RNA. How they were constructed by the body.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise them to definitely attend study tables for questions on the worksheets. As well as drawing pictures and mapping out the processes of everything. As well as going to office hours with specific questions.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The class can be useful or awful depending on if you are interested in the subject matter or not. If you go into the class with the mindset of just doing to bare minimum to get through a gen ed class, you won't do very well, especially if you don't keep up with the extensive daily textbook reading assignments. But if you are truly interested in microbiology, this class will be hard work, but fun.

    Course highlights:

The biggest highlight of the course for me was genetics, I find it interesting, but it's not talked about for very long in the class. I learned that I need stellar, consistent study habits to succeed in a course like this.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to do all of the reading, worksheet, and lab assignments, because they are a big part of your grade. Study groups are a great idea for this course, because the sheer amount of information covered can be overwhelming if you work through it alone.
