    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Although this class can be frustratingly tiring, I still remember nearly all of what I learned three years later. The methods used to teach the course encourage deep learning by digging into why you are thinking what you are thinking.

    Course highlights:

I, personally, loved the competitions between tables, as they encouraged cooperation and group collaboration. They often led to recognizing disagreements on how we thought the physics concept worked, which led to conversations that made us thoughtfully explain our thinking.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not leave the Mastering Physics homework until the last minute! I spent way too many Thursday nights stressed out of my mind, trying to make sense of the problems. On a similar note, find a group of students to work on the problems together. It is encouraged by the professor, and it helps having difference perspectives.
