    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This was my favorite course I have taken so far in school. I was dreading English 102 after stories I had heard from other students and professors, but I ended up loving both this course and the professor. It was focused around post-apocalyptic literature and the final paper we wrote had to compare issues in the book we read for the course to present day social issues. I learned a whole lot in this class.

    Course highlights:

I learned so many different things in this course. Most of it was about writing research papers, but it expanded far beyond that into literature, social issues, science, psychology, and all sorts of other subjects. It was fascinating and one of the most expansive courses I've taken.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This was a pretty challenging course, I'm not gonna lie. Be sure to stay on top of course work and meet all the deadlines. I didn't struggle too much to keep up with the work, but I watched a lot of other students fall behind in this class and have a hard time catching back up. In any good English 102 class, the work should build on itself toward the final paper so be sure you get it all done well and on time. If you've kept up with the homework, the final paper should be challenging, but doable.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I understand that this is a prerequisite class, but this specific Professor is very good.

    Course highlights:

This professor was very supportive and always willing to help her students. I learned lots of important keys form her.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not ever slack off. But it does help that this teacher always gives a heads up to her students if they need to prioritize homework.
