    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to anyone who needs to learn calculus, or even brush up on their skills. I took this course having never taken calculus before, but I had peers who had taken AP Calculus in high school and still found room to improve in this course. The principles of calculus were taught to us in a way that built a foundation for everyone, no matter our previous knowledge, and helped us to find solutions to problems that would be pertinent in our lives as Business students.

    Course highlights:

This course taught us calculus from the beginning to end. I personally love the unit on derivatives, and I really understood linearization. However, there were so many challenging aspects of the course that succeeding on homework or quizzes was a highlight.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Attend office hours. If something doesn't click, you need to find a way to make it click as soon as possible, because concepts will only build off of each other. Do as many practice problems as you can, and ask questions. It will make a huge difference.
