Professor Maskulka would give you lots of real life examples (not just reading slides) linked to theories, so you can learn what's happening in real business not just principles or terms, which is really helpful. Also fun assignments & projects like print ad. Good advertising class overall.
Not a lot reading required but gives you useful examples in real business. I learned a lot about creative advertising from the assignments and projects. The group project is about analysis of a restaurant in the town so we can go to the place for a clearer view. There's also tutorial in digital media lab for making podcast.

No need for textbooks. But word hard and memorize the slides for the 2 midterms. No final exam, just a group project. There are some quizzes but he'd let you know the exact parts you need to review so no worry.
