Not too easy. Not too difficult.
I would recommend this course for those pursuing a major in International Relations. Not only is it one of the requirement options but it also serves as a foundation to help you in your other International Relations classes here at Lehigh. Professor Narizny engages the students and is not reluctant to answer questions.
The highlights of this course were the in-class discussions. We were able to share our opinion on all of the theories we learned in our reading and in lecture. I learned about the order of the international system and the concepts of hegemony, power transition, balance of power etc. These concepts are becoming more important to the United States today because we have to deal with a rising Chinese economy and the tools we learned in class will help us understand why states act the way they do.

Advice for students:
It is very important to do the readings. Exams are multiple choice but take key ideas and examples from the readings. Good luck :)
