Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Kim is an interactive teacher whose only demand is an attentive classroom. If you abide by this one rule you are guaranteed at least a passing grade in the class. MKT 111 gives 2 midterms and 1 final with 6 short multiple-choice quizzes throughout the year. There is a cumulative group project at the end of the year as well. All of the work in this class is fairly graded and requires substantial individual effort. That being said if you focus in class and read the chapters before class you are setting yourself up for a well deserved A.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was the group project due at the end of the year. We were required to pick an existing company and create a new product for the company. We were required to completely develop the product's concept development, marketing strategy, and marketing program cumulating in a final paper and presentation to the class.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the chapter being covered in class before class so you can be an active participant in class. Professor Kim weighs the importance of class participation heavily in the final grade so make sure that part of your grade is an easy 100%.
