Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Before I took this class i loved learning about Economics, but Mr. Larson took it to a whole different level. He was a deep critical thinker and taught me how to analyze and think critically as well. To truly understand Economics on the micro and macro levels, you have to think critically. He is by far my favorite teacher i have ever had.

    Course highlights:

Learning how our Monetary system worked, such as fractional reserve banking, inflation, deflation, unemployment rates, and so on. It was an extremely interesting course. I loved Economics even more after taking this class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study on your own before taking this class as well as during, and after. it will definitely help with your understanding of Economics. Also, study history as well. Make sure you know a good amount of world and U.S. history.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course to someone. Gupta was a good professor. He explained complex concepts in a way that was easy to understand. Also, the notes he provided in class essentially summarized the chapters.

    Course highlights:

This was the first economics course I had taken. In all, I learned a lot and got a deepened understanding of the U.S. and global economy. I realized that I do have a moderate interest in economics and other business related fields.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Many students I know took micro before macro. I did it the other way around. Gupta's teaching style is different than that of the micro professor. If you took micro first, stay open minded and learn to adjust.
