    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

She's really enthusiastic but her lecture go really fast. I would definitely print out her lecture notes before class.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot and that CHEM at UW is incredibly hard.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Go over all the worksheets and do the practice problems. Don't be afraid to ask for help and ALEKS isn't that useful.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Colleen was great. I took her 830am class with about 300 kids and participation was usually low with a dead atmosphere. I remember her making attempts to crack chemistry jokes to the class and her voice is also easy to follow and listen to. Her ability to explain weird concepts was also amazing.

    Course highlights:

I went into this course with little to no knowledge about chemistry. I barely passed the placement exam. The highlights of this course were the into to quantum mechanics and also going into depth about stoichiometry and understanding how that concept works. We also learned about gas laws and how electrons.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Actually put in 2 hours of studying for every hour of class. Do the optional book problems and every practice exam offered. Also, keep track of the online homework and do not let yourself fall behind on concepts. Get help through office hours/chemistry learning center and also pinch every single point on the labs.
