    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It's a requirement for a psychology major and I loved it; it deals with the actual physiology of the brain and the why behind psychology. Teacher was incredibly thorough and taught in an engaging manner. We actually read the majority of the textbook which was nice because I hate when I spend a lot on the book and then use it for like one chapter.

    Course highlights:

My favorite portions of this course were when we went into depth about the physiological reasons behind motivation and addiction. I found it extraordinarily intriguing and it helped me to understand better and have a little more empathy for other people.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class. He does tape lectures, but only use those as an emergency or as a study tool, not as a reason to not go to class. Take very thorough notes of his slide shows and actually read the text beforehand, because he builds his lectures on top of that and expands on the reading.
