Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was so much fun and really broke down the basics for great writing. I thought I was a good writer in high school but now I feel so much more confident in my abilities to compose well thought out papers. Each teacher gets to chose a genre to base their class on and mine chose climate change fiction which is such a unique choice that it really narrowed down how to write and understand the required learning concepts as my teacher explained them.

    Course highlights:

I am so much better at writing essays now that it's not even funny. Some of the work seems really tedious or boring but the way the teacher assigned things, doing this work ahead of time and going over it with the class really helped cement in your mind how you could take the small ideas and create a long, well-thought-out paper.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You really need to try your best and put something down on the paper even if you don't like it at first. Continually coming back to your work and revising it with a fresh mind allows it to get better over time. That's why it's also important to not put it off until the day before it's due because it's not a good idea to submit something from just one day of thought. Many times I also would ask my teacher to look over a paper and ask her if it completed all of the requirements she was looking for or if it could improve in any way.
