    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course, not just because it is required for some majors, but because it's interesting, and it actually relates to and helps you understand events that happen in everyday life.

    Course highlights:

First of all, the professor for this course is awesome. It is clear in the lectures how passionate he is about physics and teaching what he knows. Overall, I learned a lot in this course. We basically covered kinematics, energy, relativity, work, forces, and rotational motion.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention during the lecture and read the textbook! The professor does a great job of explaining the textbook concepts in language that is easy to understand. Also, you need to attend the labs, otherwise you will fail the class (it's actually a requirement that you attend a certain number of the labs otherwise you receive a 0.0).

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

For any engineering major, this class is a pre-requisite. It's a difficult class and very time consuming, but it's required.

    Course highlights:

I learned basic applications of physics concepts. You'll need these for the upcoming classes to get in the major.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Start thing early and always do things ahead of time. Pay attention in class and don't just look for solutions.
