Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because Dr. Gill is a very interesting professor. When you think of poly sci you might think of a monotonous professor and lecture. However, Gill incorporates his own relatable stories and experiences to lecture so the students can connect with him on a personal level and understand the course material in such a way as well.

    Course highlights:

Highlights of this course are the reading. In other classes you might get a very straight foreword textbook, filled with definitions and uninteresting readings. In this course you will read about poly sci, having concepts relating to things like pirates and cowboys.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

For sure you want to go to class everyday. It makes the material easier to remember. And make sure you read and listen to the podcast. Everything he teaches is just things you mainly have to remember with some sort of understanding. It's fairly easy as long as you actually keep up on the work.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because Professor Gill is definitely an interesting character who makes learning entertaining. Political science can be difficult to understand, and paying attention can also be tiring. However, Gill has the ability to capture his students with an entertaining lecture and reading material that is bound to intrigue his students.

    Course highlights:

Highlights of this course was lecture. Most professors can be monotone, and the material can slip your mind when trying to recall it after an hour of dull lecture. With Professor Gill, he uses personal anecdotes to connect with his students, along with other relatable material to help his students understand on a better 'level.'

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Advise that I would give, is make sure you study. As a freshman it is easy to underestimate the hours you should spend studying. You need to take the material that you learned in lecture, and be able to apply it. Another piece of advice would be to keep in mind the reason you are at college. It is easy to become unmotivated, and this will keep you going.
