    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course taught me different statistical methods for the analysis of fisheries samples. This is one of the required courses for fisheries biologists and will help tremendously for any other biological or natural sciences degree.

    Course highlights:

I was able to apply the methods I learned right away with my data. My professor was excellent, and I was able to team up with her to work on an RA for which I applied some of the analysis techniques taught in the course.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

You should have a basic knowledge of statistical methods to take this course, and should spent quite a few hours doing homework. It worked well for me to have a study group and use resources available.
