Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The benefits to UW in the Highschool are endless. This PreCalculus course has prepared me for advanced future math courses, and inspired me to continue college math.

    Course highlights:

Math is something I thoroughly enjoy, and this course values not only analysis, but critical thinking as well. There is not only one approach to solving every problem, and this course demonstrates that. You will look at multiple methods to approach each and every problem, and an element of personal preference comes in as you choose which you prefer. It is more than math. It is career readiness.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Focus in class, and ASK QUESTIONS. If you don't understand what the teacher is doing, and the board looks like a mess of jumbled numbers, sitting in silence will not help you understand it. They are more than willing to help. Always ask.

    Advice for students:

This is a fairly basic math course, it is very important that you take the time to review the material very thouroughly yourself prior to exam times, because the professor won't hold your hand.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this class because the professor, Jonah, explains the math very well. He provides many examples and notes so the students can be ready for tests and for Math 125. He helps the students even during his office hours and he made sure to explain even more.

    Course highlights:

He gave hints and tricks for each math problems and subjects so we can understand. For word problems, he let you know how to use drawing so you can understand how they are connected.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Practice and practice is the big deal. Made sure to take notes and made sure to look at it again so you will not forget. Practice fake daily exam questions each day so it will help you for the tests. Also ask questions if you don't understand or you need clarify.
