    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

While no "intro" class is easy due to the broad subject matter, computer programming will be very important to know in the future and Dr. Lewis knows his stuff.

    Course highlights:

You learn the basics of the C language, which in today's programming might not seem all that wonderful. However, new students should know how to program with the very basic C. The C program is what was used to develop all the other languages. As well, engineers will use C. Dr. Lewis is very knowledgeable in this subject.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you're taking this course as an easy A, just drop the course. But if you want to learn and develop a skill, this class will rock your mental abilities.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It's important to know, even just the basics, of how the technological world works. Especially given how we're becoming more and more advanced.

    Course highlights:

The course taught me the basics of computer programming in the C language, and they did that by having us code gambling games and play against our friends. What other class does that?

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

It's not that you need a strong math or science background, I got an A and I suck at math. You have to prepare your assignments and really think deeply about everything. You also need to understand the theory behind what you're writing for the exams.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course for this course for students that are interested in computer science. Andy is a great teacher and really shows that he cares about every student in the class, so a first time programmer would do in his hands.

    Course highlights:

The highlights for me would definitely have to be Andy as a professor, and when we started programming games. The course was really fun and I had a great time in the course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Start the assignments when he assigns them, don't wait until the day before. No previous programming knowledge required.
