Not too easy. Not too difficult.
I have taken several lower level anthropology courses throughout my educational career, but this one by far is the most different, yet interesting. Not only are we discussing how different cultures view the self, but how they interpret dreams. I have never before taken an anthropology course that doubles as a psychology course as well.
Right now, we are learning about Balinese culture. I only knew of it as a popular tropical tourist spot, but now I know why it is. Bali has a unique culture, different than any in the entire planet, but it has infused other cultures as well, from India, China, Java, and from the Dutch. I can't wait to learn how the Balinese interpret their own dreams.

Advice for students:
I highly recommend if you are taking this course or any other online, use a planner and map out when, where, and how you will study and take exams, but do so for the entire semester. That way you will be well prepared, finished early, and not run into any technical troubles, especially if you are prone to procrastination. Take your time, and the best way to succeed at this course is do all of the reading and participate in the discussions.
