Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I loved this math class. I thought it was fun doing basic algebra. Frank had a great sense of humor in class and always knew how to explain concepts in multiple ways.

    Course highlights:

I never really understood how to factor, but after Frank explained it, factoring clicked.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your homework and go to class. If you have any questions, Frank will help you! I can't emphasize enough to go to class. Frank does pop quizzes so make sure to pay attention and you will do well in this class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would totally recommend taking Math 106 with Frank. He was always was willing to explain something in multiple different ways if someone didn't understand the way he was explaining a math problem the first time. Frank picked up class right where we left off the pervious class. That was always super nice because all my notes flowed when I looked back through them. If we started a problem and didn't finish it because we started it too late into class, Frank picked up from that same spot.

    Course highlights:

As we went through the sections of each chapter, Frank would explain how that math was useful in real life. If someone didn't agree with him, he would explain a scenario or Frank would simply pick a new application and explain how that math fit into place.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Show up to class! Frank doesn't take attendance, but he goes through a lot of examples and if you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask! He is super nice and has a great sense of humor. The homework could be a little confusing and difficult at times, I would recommend to start it early so Frank can help you with any questions you may have. He is willing to stay after class to help you and he is also at school super early in the mornings if that works for you.
