    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class essentially thought me how to study. Although it is easy, if you do not have an effective way of memorizing certain events and their time period you will be screwed. I study will color coded notes and for me that worked very well, but they are other ways to help you study. The tests are very facts based, so make sure that you attend every lecture because you will get clicker points!

    Course highlights:

This course is almost like a social studies course that focuses on technology and the way that it shaped our society. It highlights the 1900s with the creations of radio and television. I learned several things that I didn't know about those two inventions.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

There are two papers that you will have to write that each will have two prompts. I advise anyone that is going to take this class to always start the paper earlier than you originally intended. Each TA grades differently, so you need to meet with them to see what they expect out of you and this paper.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I loved this class! Study, study, study! This class requires that you have things memorized which is why flashcards or color coded notes are the most effective. Also be sure to read the articles that she put up on Black board because those will be bonus questions that will help your grade on the test.

    Course highlights:

The course covers media from the the early 1900s all the way to today. It focuses on the invention of the television and radio and the methods of that those forms of communication used to help shape society into what it is today.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely make sure to start the papers early then you intend to because they are easy but each TA grade different, so you want to make sure that you have time to go to their office hours to get an idea of what they expect from you.
