    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Many subjects are covered in a short amount of time which in consequence squeezes very little time to thoroughly understand topics in class. Highly suggest office hours! Notes are super important as well as reading over material in the textbook for further clarification. Clicker questions are a daily and so are think-pair-share questions.

    Course highlights:

I definitely learned how to manage my notes and my time studying. Responsibility is very serious in this class. Would not suggest studying one day before the exam.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study weeks in advance for exams because they're very complex and specific. Definitely need to know different processes in plants. Also, go to class there are clicker points.

    Advice for students:

Make flashcards to memorize the information.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I learned much from this professor. Dr. Carloye taught the second part of Bio106, the animal section. She was quite engaging and I learned about the various systems of animals.

    Course highlights:

The class was interesting and the professor was engaging and energetic every day. She always took time out of her lecture to make sure the whole class understood the material.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read all of the readings and don't fall behind. Always study the notes after lecture, and make sure you pay attention to the clicker questions and LBL homework.
